By the present Petition, Petitioner had prayed for the direction to the jail authorities/State of Maharashtra to transfer him to Hindalga Central Prison, Belgaum, State of Karnataka from Kolhapur Central Prison, State of Maharashtra.

It appears that, after filing of the present Petition, the Petitioner has been transferred to Visapur District Open Central Prison, District Ahmednagar on 9th August 2015.

In view of the above, according to us, it is not necessary to consider the prayer of the Petitioner as mentioned in the Petition. 1/2
