By this application, applicant is seeking regular bail in C.R. No. 253 of 2024 registered with Solapur Taluka Police Station, IRESH MASHAL District Solapur for offences punishable under Sections 307, 326, by IRESH MASHAL Date:

2025.12.19 17:06:57 +0530 354(D), 323 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

It is the prosecution's case that on 23rd May 2024 around 8.30 a.m., the applicant assaulted the first informant with knife with intention to kill him. The applicant also assaulted the sister-in-law and niece of the first informant with knife and seriously injured them. 3.

It is contention of learned counsel for applicant that applicant is behind bar for more than 1 year and 6 months. The

charge is framed, there is no progress in trial. The applicant has filed cross F.I.R. against the first informant. Investigation is completed and charge-sheet has been filed. Hence, requested to allow the application.

It is contention of learned APP that the applicant assaulted the first informant and his family members with knife. They are seriously injured in the said assault. If applicant is released on bail, he may threaten the first informant and prosecution witnesses. Hence, requested to reject the application.

I have heard both learned counsel, perused F.I.R. and documents produced on record. Applicant is behind bar for more than 1 year and 6 months. Though charge is framed, there is no progress in trial. It may take time to conclude the trial. 6.

In view of above, I pass following order:

O R D E R

I.

The Application is allowed.

II.

The Applicant be enlarged on bail in C.R. No. 253 of 2024 registered with Solapur Taluka Police Station, District Solapur on executing P.R.Bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

III.

The Applicant shall not tamper with the evidence or attempt to influence or contact the witnesses or any person concerned with the case.

IV.

The Applicant shall attend the Trial Court dates, regularly. V.

The applicant shall not enter in South Solapur, Taluka till recording of evidence of family members of the first informant. 7.

The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is accordingly disposed off.

It is made clear that the above observations are made only for the purpose of granting bail and the Trial Court shall decide the case on its own merits in accordance with law and uninfluenced by the observations made in this order.
