This petition can be disposed of by directing the respondent no.2 - District Caste Certiicate Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.

The petitioner to co-operate with the respondent No.2 - Committee and shall not seek unnecessary adjournment. Since the Uday S. Jagtap 1 of

961-12610-2025-CWP=.doc petitioner is a student, who has already secured admission in the MBBS course in the Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research, Talegaon, against the Scheduled Caste category, the admission should not be cancelled till the caste claim is decided within the aforesaid period.
