Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Mr. Dalvi, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that around 10 Hector of the petitioner's land was acquired and, therefore, the petitioner is eligible for 1 H and 60 Ares. However only 80 Ares land has been allotted and the balance 80 Ares is not allotted. The petitioner prays in the alternative that a suitable land as demanded by the petitioner could be allotted. We ind prima facie substance in submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the area to Uday S. Jagtap 1 of

37-1156-2023-CWP=.doc the extent of the petitioner's entitlement should be allotted, if not already allotted.

We have heard learned AGP, who opposed the petition. 4.

Taking overall view of the matter, we direct the respondent no.1 to decide the demand application dated 4th October 2022, which is at Exh. A. to the petition as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of 12 weeks from 23rd December 2025. Learned Counsel for the petitioner assures that the petitioner will appear before the respondent No.1 along with copy of this order on 23rd December 2025. The respondent No.1 may also consider the prayer for allotment of suitable alternate land as demanded by the petitioner. 5.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
