1] Since there is dispute as regards factual aspects, it is desirable that the petitioner, who is an employee of respondent - private institution shall approach the Controlling Authority established under the provisions of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 for redressal of his grievance. If the petitioner tenders appropriate proceedings before the Controlling Authority within a period of eight weeks from today, the Controlling Authority shall extend an opportunity of hearing to all concerned and render decision in the matter as expeditiously as possible and preferably within three months from the date of approach of the petitioner to the Controlling Authority. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
