The issue involved in these petitions pertains to the approval of the appointment, with both petitioners claiming valid appointment to the post of Head Mistress.

Mr. Vadgaonkar, learned counsel for the petitioner in Writ Petition No. 8917 of 2024, submits that the proposal for appointment of Petitioner No. 2 - Ustad Faujiya Taher as Head Mistress is pending with the Education OfÏcer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Solapur, and the same ought to be decided in accordance with law. 3.

Mr. Khairdi, learned Counsel for the Petitioner in Writ Petition No. 81 of 2023 submits that infact the Petitioner's proposal for approval of the appointment of Head Mistress is pending with the Education OfÏcer (Secondary). Mr. Khairdi further submits that no proposal has been submitted by Petitioner No. 1 - Citizen Education Social Welfare Society in Writ Petition No. 8917 of 2024 for approval of the appointment of the petitioner therein as Head Mistress. 4.

These petitions can be disposed of by directing the Education OfÏcer (Secondary) to decide the proposal of the petitioner in Writ Petition No. 81 of 2023 expeditiously, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from 24th December 2025.

We do not find any proposal on record submitted on behalf of Petitioner No. 2 in Writ Petition No. 8917 of 2024. If a proposal is submitted by rival factions in respect of Petitioner No. 2 in Writ Petition No. 8917 of 2024, or if any such proposal is already pending, the Education OfÏcer shall decide the same expeditiously and within the aforesaid period.

The petitioners in Writ Petition No. 8917 of 2024 are at liberty to submit a fresh proposal for approval of the appointment of Petitioner No. 2 within a period of one week from today, if not already submitted. 7.

All contentions of the parties are kept open. Both writ petitions are disposed of accordingly.

In the facts of the present case, the Education OfÏcer shall hear all concerned parties in the aforesaid petitions before taking a final decision.

The petitioners in both petitions shall appear before the Education OfÏcer on 24th December 2025 at 11:00 a.m. 10.

In view of the disposal of Writ Petitions, nothing survives for consideration in the pending Interim Applications and the same stand disposed of.
