Learned Counsel for the Petitioner informs the court that this writ petition, which challenges an order passed by a trial court on an application for setting aside an order of "evidence closed" and allowing the Petitioner to give evidence, has been rendered infructuous, since, in the meantime, the suit itself has been disposed of by the trial court. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. All contentions and remedies of the Petitioner in respect of the impugned order are, however, kept open.
