The petitioners have impugned the final voters list dated 21st October, 2022 of the respondent no.4 Grampanchayat and seek modification of the final voters list in accordance with the objection dated 18th October, 2022 raised by the petitioners. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the elections are proposed to be held on 18th December, 2022. In view of the election programme already having been issued, no interference 1/2

501-wp15456-22.doc is warranted at this stage. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. The petitioners would be at liberty to file appropriate proceedings after declaration of the election result, permissible in law. There shall be no order as to costs.
