Heard.

In view of the observations made in the order dated 14th December 2015, I have asked the learned APP as to whether the State has preferred any appeal challenging the acquittal of the applicants in respect of an offence punishable under Section 307 of the IPC. The learned APP states that no such appeal has been filed by the State.

Pending the hearing and final disposal of the appeal, the substantive sentences imposed upon the applicants / appellants shall stand suspended; and the applicants / appellants shall be allowed to remain on the same bail, as granted by the trial court, but on executing fresh bonds.

In view of this, Criminal Application No.1499 of 2015 stands disposed of.
