Rule. Learned AGP appearing for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 waives services. Heard finally by consent of parties. 3.
By this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks directions against the respondent no.2 to grant approval to the appointment of the petitioner as peon w.e.f. 1st November, 2014 and to release grant in aid for payment of salary to the petitioner with all consequential benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioner refers to the proposal dated 10th November, 2014 for grant of approval to the appointment of the petitioner as peon dated 10th November, 2014 as well as reminder proposal dated 16th July, 2017. He submits that till date the respondent no.2 has not considered and/or taken decision on the said proposal as well as reminder proposal.

In view thereof the respondent nos. 2 is directed to take decision on the proposal dated 10th November, 2014 as well as reminder proposal dated 16th July, 2017 within a period of four weeks from today and shall communicate the said decision to the petitioner within a period of two weeks form the date of such decision. 6.
Writ Petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms. Rule is made absolute accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. [R. I. CHAGLA, J.] [R. D. DHANUKA, J.]
