Having heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and learned AGP for the Respondent-State, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing Respondent No.5-Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur to dispose of the proposal dated 11th July 2014 submitted by the Headmaster of Petitioner No. 3 - High School for individual approval to the appointment of 1st Petitioner on the post of Shikshan Sevak (copy of the said proposal is annexed at Exhibit-F to the petition), as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is clarified that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and Respondent No.5 shall decide the said proposal of the Petitioners independently, on its own merits and strictly in accordance patilsr 1 / 2

with law.

In order to enable Respondent No.5 to comply with this order, the Petitioner shall remain present before Respondent No.5 along with a copy of said proposal and a copy of this order on 26th March 2018 at 11.00 a.m.

Interim relief granted earlier by this Court on 29th November 2017 shall remain in force till the disposal of aforestated proposal of the Petitioners.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
