1] Offence registered against the applicant on 14ith March 2014i is under sections 354i-A, 4i52, 34i2 and 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and sections 11(1) and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

2] The complainant - respondent No.2, then minor, is now adult and also married. She has given no objection for quashing of FIR.

3] The applicant present before the Court states that he is ready and willing to compensate respondent No.1 - State of Maharashtra reasonably.

29-cri-apl-1308-18.doc 4i] We have considered the FIR. As nothing fruitful will come out of prosecution, we are inclined to accept the afdavit tendered by respondent No.2 in August 2018 and also request being made today.

5] Accordingly, subject to the applicant paying to Police Welfare Fund of respondent No.1 an amount of Rs.10,000/- within two weeks from today, we make Rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (b).
