On perusal of the impugned order, it appears that the election petition under section 15 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959 has been allowed. The result of the election was declared on 25 February 2019. The period of the election was up to 24 February 2024. As of today the period is over. Therefore, by efflux of time the writ petition has become infructuous. 2.
