Learned APP states that appraisal report of Convicting Court is still not received and therefore entitlement to benefit of remission scheme floated on the eve of 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar could not be decided.

In this situation, we direct Convicting Court to expedite action and submit necessary report within four weeks after communication of this order to it. The Superintendent of Kolhapur Central Prison to point out this order to Convicting Court.
