The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to Respondent No.2, to absorb the Petitioner in the primary school as a Teacher by way of transfer from Kolhapur Zilla Parishad.

934.wp.13618.17.doc The Petitioner was appointed as an Assistant Teacher in Kolhapur Zilla Parishad. The Petitioner's husband is also working as an Assistant Teacher in Sangli Zilla Parishad. In accordance with the Government Resolution dated 29th September, 2011, the Petitioner applied for transfer. Accordingly, "No Objection Certificate" was granted by the Sangli Zilla Parishad vide order dated 5th January, 2017. The Kolhapur Zilla Parishad has granted 'No Objection Certificate" on earlier occasion i.e. on 15th January, 2015.

In any case the learned counsel for Respondent No.2 Sangali Zilla Parishad makes a statement that the said Zilla Parishad has no objection in absorbing the Petitioner. In that view of the matter, the Petition is allowed. The Petitioner is directed to be absorbed by Respondent No.2 within a period of two weeks from today.
