Challenge in this writ petition is to the order dated 30th March 2017 passed by respondent No.8/Collector, Kolhapur. 2.

By the impugned order, the Collector, Kolhapur dismissed the petitioners filed by the petitioners under section 3(1)(b) of the Maharashtra Local Authority Members' Disqualification Act, 1986. 3.

The petition was filed in the year 2017. The term of the respondents has come to an end in 2017. Therefore, the issue raised in the petition has become academic.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
