Heard. By this petition, the petitioner is challenging the orders dated 20.09.2013 and 19.11.2012 passed by the learned Divisional Commissioner and learned District Magistrate, Sindhudurg respectively dismissing his application dated 09.07.2011 for Arms License. The application is rejected after recording subjective sanctification that there is no life threats to the petitioner. That apart, the petitioner relied upon some stray incidents while working as Chief Officer at Sawantwadi. Uday S. Jagtap

4616-13-wp=.doc Admittedly, now he has been transferred to Alibag and, therefore, stray incident cannot form ground to apply for Arms License. Perusal of both the orders reveals that no good grounds are made out for grant of Arms License and, therefore, we are not inclined to exercise the writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed.
