P.C:- When the new Elections to the Gram Panchayat of village Vakurde Bk, taluka Shirala, District Sangli were conducted, whether this petition survives. The petitioner was removed from the post of Sarpanch vide order dated 16/9/2017 passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Pune. He was removed on the complaint of respondent no.1. The dangerous structures were removed by the petitioner without following procedure. He has not informed to the Panchayat Samiti. This ground was accepted by the Divisional Commissioner. The petitioner was not successful before the Minister for Rural Development. He dismissed the appeal of the petitioner vide order dated 6/12/2017.
