By this application the applicant is seeking transfer of Marriage Petition No. 56 of 2024 filed by the respondent which is pending before the Civil Judge, Senior Devision, Pandharpur to Family Court at Bandra.

It is the contention of learned counsel for the applicant that applicant stays at Mumbai. She has no source of income. The distance between Mumbai to Pandharpur is more than 300 km. The applicant is finding difficult to attend the Court dates at Pandharpur. Hence, requested to allow the application.

Though the respondent is served, none present for the respondent. Hence, I am deciding this matter on merit. 4.

The applicant stays at Mumbai. Applicant is a lady and she has no source of income. The distance between Mumbai to Pandharpur where the Marriage Petition filed by the respondent is pending, is more than 300 km. She finding difficult to attend the Court dates at Pandharpur. It is settled principle of law that convenience of the wife has to be considered over the husband. Considering these facts, I pass the following order.

O R D E R

I.

Application is allowed.

II.

Marriage Petition No.56 of 2024 pending before the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Pandharpur be transferred to Family Court, Bandra.

III. Both parties to appear before the Family Court, Bandra. 5.

Application stands disposed off.
