Learned Advocate for the Petitioner submitted that, present crime is registered on 18th September 2010 and the charge-sheet has been filed on 20th February 2011. That, the trial Court as of today has examined two witnesses and the last one on 21st September 2022. 2.
In view of the above, we direct learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Solapur, to conclude the hearing of Regular Criminal Case No.1070/2012 pending on its file, on or before 31st December 2025, without seeking an extension in that behalf. In case, any prosecution witness is not cooperating in conducting the said trial expeditiously, learned Judge of the trial Court shall adhere to the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure/Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and conclude the said trial before the afore-noted date.

In view of the above direction, learned Advocate for the Petitioner does not press for the substantive relief i.e. prayer Clause (a) in Petition. 4.
