We have heard the learned counsel for the parties. 2.

In our considered opinion, this petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing Respondent No.2 - Education Officer, (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Solapur, to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 9.10.2017 (copy of which is at Exhibit "E" to the Petition), as expeditiously as possible and, in any case, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. 3.

It is made clear that we have not gone into merits of the petitioner's claim. The Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad,

Mhi WP-1549-18.doc Solapur shall decide the petitioner's representation independently on its merits and in accordance with law.

In order to enable Respondent No.2 to comply with this said order, the petitioner shall remain present before the Education Officer along with a copy of the said representation dated 9.10.2017 as well as a copy of this order on 26.3.2018.

The petition stands disposed of.
