This matter is sent to this Bench, i.e., the Circuit Bench at Kolhapur, for the reason that Petitioner-convict is in a prison which is situated within the territorial jurisdiction of this Circuit Bench. However, as a matter of fact, the order of conviction is passed by a Court which is situated within the territorial jurisdiction of the Principal Bench of this Court. In view of this, it would be appropriate to direct the Registry to remit this matter back to the Principal Bench at Bombay. Ordered accordingly.
