After the arrest on June 21, 2018 in crime No.I­ 509/2018 for offence punishable under sections 395, 365, 120B and 170 of the Indian Penal Code registered with Karad police station, Satara, the applicant is seeking regular bail, already having been charge­sheeted.

From perusal of the investigation papers, the role that can be inferred of the applicant is of assisting the co­accused in

There are no antecedents. However, it is informed that the applicant is acquitted in the pending earlier prosecution case. 5.

In the aforesaid backdrop, in my opinion, a case for bail is made out. Hence the order :­ i) The applicant be released on bail in Crime No.I­509/2018 for offence punishable under sections 395, 365, 120B and 170 of the Indian Penal Code registered with Karad police station, Satara upon furnishing P.R. bond of Rs.25,000/­ with one or more sureties in the like amount; ii) The applicant shall not influence the prosecution witnesses or tamper with the evidence;
