Heard learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and learned AGP for the State.

The Petition seeks a direction to the Respondent No.3-Assistant Commissioner to decide the representation dated 6th June 2022, submitted by the Petitioner within a stipulated period. 3.
The Managing Committee of the Respondent No.4 Educational Institution had appointed the Petitioner to the post of Assistant Teacher in the Respondent No.5-Junior College w.e.f. 1st July, 2008, which appointment was approved by Respondent No.2 by order dated 4th March, 2016. Subsequently, in the year 2017 the Petitioner applied to the Educational Institution seeking permission to contest the election of
4-wp-11667-2024.doc Panchayat Samiti which leave came to be approved. However, the Principal issued show cause notice to the Petitioner and did not permit the Petitioner to sign the muster. In this background, representation was made on 6th June, 2022 to the Respondent No.3 -Assistant Commissioner requesting to take necessary action. The Respondent No.3 issued notice dated 27th June, 2022 seeking certain information from the Petitioner, which information was submitted by the Petitioner by written explanation dated 4th July, 2022. After submission of explanation, there is no response by the Respondent No.3-Assistant Commissioner.

Learned AGP, on instructions submits that within a period of four weeks, the representation dated 6th June, 2022 will be decided. 5.
In light of the said statement, the Writ Petition is disposed off by directing the Respondent No.3-Assistant Commissioner to take necessary decision on the representation dated 6th June, 2022 within the period of four weeks from the date of passing of this order.
