Heard learned counsel for the petitioners on this petition which assails an order dated 04 February, 2022 passed by the Additional Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune, whereby an interim application for stay in the revision proceedings under Section 256 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, has been rejected. 2.

In my opinion, as the revision application itself is pending, it is appropriate that the petition is disposed of directing the Additional Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division to dispose of the revision application as expeditiously as possible and within a period of 10 weeks from today. Ordered accordingly. All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open.

By the present order, as there is a simplicitor direction to the revisional authority to decide the application, no prejudice whatsoever ------------------------- 15 February, 2023
