The application seeks condonation of delay in preferring the first appeal assailing the judgment and order passed by the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Sindhudurg-Oros. The delay is of 5 years and 273 days.

Reasons for delay are enumerated in paragraph 2 of the application. Considering the averments in the said paragraph and the fact that the Applicant is a farmer seeking enhancement of amount of compensation awarded to him, in the interest of justice, I 10th January 2024
