Today, when the matter was called, it is brought to the notice of the that pending this petition, the life convict prisoner viz., B.Robert Payas @ Kumaralingam, has already been released prematurely vide order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court made in Crl.A.No.1974 of 2022, and hence, the prayer sought for in the present Habeas Corpus Petition become infructuous. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
