This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioners.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners got married on 05.07.2018 and aggrieved by the same, the second petitioner's father Sornadass is criminally intimidated the petitioners and he is not allowing the petitioners to live peacefully and hence, the petitioners have made a complaint on 10.09.2018 before the third respondent, but the third respondent refused to receive the same and hence, the petitioners have sent a representation to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 requesting them to provide police protection. He further submitted that the respondents may be directed to provide police protection to the petitioners. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the third respondent has not refused to receive the complaint. She further submitted that she will check whether any representation was sent to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 and if any such representation has been sent, the respondents will take appropriate action in accordance with law.
4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, if any representation is received by the respondent Nos.1 and 2, they have to forward the same to the third respondent immediately. The third respondent has to conduct enquiry with regard to the said representation and if any cognizable offence is made out, then he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.
5. With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
