This Appeal was originally filed as A.S.No.130 of 1987 on the file of the District Court, Nagapattinam and subsequently transferred to this Court vide order of this Court dated 15.11.1993 in Tr.CMP. No.10673 of 1989 and renumbered as A.S.No.470 of 1996.

2. This matter was listed on 24.09.2019 and on that day, there was no representation for the appellants and on the appellants being called, remaining absent, Registry was directed to list the matter today i.e., on 25.09.2019, under the caption "for dismissal".

3. Today, when the matter is called, there is no representation for the appellants. Appellants called, absent.
