ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 14.09.2020 pursuant to which an enquiry stood completed on 22.10.2020 and to pass orders thereon in regard to grant of patta in favour of the petitioners on merits and within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard, Ms.N.R.Jasmine Padma, learned counsel appearing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for the petitioners and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 14.09.2020, after issuance of notice to the petitioners and the counter parties, if any, by giving them an opportunity of hearing and shall pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
