O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 127(4), 118(1), 351(3) of BNS, 2023 and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice ( Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 in Crime No.263 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 30.06.2025 at about 09.30.p.m., received a phone call from the defacto complainant through Child Care Helpline Number. The respondent police went to the spot, on interrogation revealed that A1-step father along with his A2 mother of the two children had physically assaulted and children aged 4 1⁄2 years and 2 years with PVC pipe, resulting in which, they had sustained severe injuries in all over their body and later, they were admitted to the Thiruvallur Government Hospital. Moreover, the step father as well as the biological mother of two children had threatened to kill the two children with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. This Court earlier dismissed the petitioner's anticipatory bail on 17.09.2025 by stating the following reasons:

Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is involved in causing severe injuries in all over their body of two child and the gravity of offence was committed by the petitioner and investigation in this case is yet to be concluded, at this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, without any change in circumstances, the present petition is filed. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
