ORDER

The present application has been filed to direct the respondent to quit and deliver the vacant possession of the property at No.17, Poonamallee High Road, Chennai -3.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the subject property was acquired for Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) project and in pursuance to the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the compensation has been granted.

Since the land has already been acquired, the relief sought for in the present application to quit and delivery possession does not arise at all. Thus, this application stands closed. No costs.
