Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing only against one R.Sankar son of Ramasamy the 7th Respondent herein at the Serial No. of 66 at the rotation No.17 in the Regular panel of Deputy Collectors (Recruitment by Transfer) for the year 2022-2023 as per G.O.(Ms).No.505, Revenue and Disaster Management (Ser-1) Department dated 03.10.2023 passed by the Revenue and Disaster Management the first respondent herein on basis of the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2023. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction forbearing the 7th Respondent herein at the Serial No. of 66 at the rotation No.17 in the Regular panel of Deputy Collectors (Recruitment by Transfer) for the year 2022-2023 as per G.O.(Ms).No.505, Revenue and Disaster Management (Ser-1) Department dated 03.10.2023 passed by the Revenue and Disaster Management the first respondent herein on basis of the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 6 and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner is qualified with 10th standard and enrolled in the Employment Exchange. However, he was not called for any employment. The 7th respondent indulged in irregularities while appointing the Village Assistants and as such, he is facing disciplinary proceedings. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation not to indulge the 7th respondent in the panel of Deputy Collectors (Recruitment by Transfer) for the year 2022-2023.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 submitted that already the 7th respondent is facing disciplinary proceedings. That apart, the petitioner has no locus to seek such direction not to include the 7th respondent in the promotion panel for the post of Deputy Collector.
5. In view of the above, this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
