The present Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 553 days in filing the revision against the judgment in M.C.No.71 of 2012 on the file of the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, dated 19.03.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent has no objection for this petition being allowed.

3. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit in support of the petition and considering the inordinate delay, this Court considers it appropriate to allow this petition on payment of costs. Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the delay of 553 days in filing the revision against the judgment dated 19.03.2022 passed in

M.C.No.71 of 2012 by the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, is condoned subject to payment of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) to the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order, failing which, the petition shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court and a proof to that effect shall be filed before this Court.

4. Registry is directed to number the criminal appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case for admission. 06.06.2024 ssb
