Standing Counsel] ***** COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed by the respective petitioners/accused for quashing the proceedings pending against them in STC.Nos.202, 209, 207, 206, 205, 204, 208, 203 of 2011, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Coimbatore.

2.Today, when the cases are taken up for hearing, the learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent/Defacto Complainant submitted that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, vide office memorandum https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 14.06.2017, has proposed to withdraw cases which are more than ten years old and as the present cases fall under this category, they are proposing to withdraw the same. The said submission, on instructions, is placed on record. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent/Defacto Complainant that they are proposing to withdraw the cases, which are pending for more than ten years, including the present cases, no further order is required to be passed in these criminal original petitions and the same are accordingly, closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
