O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to call for the records and to quash the proceedings as against the petitioners in Crime No.621 of 2011 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Team-II, Chennai.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners/A1 and A2 are wife and husband and the third petitioner/A3 is their son.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would further submit that, it would suffice, if this Court permits the petitioners to furnish the particulars before the law enforcing agency to prove their innocence and issue direction to the law enforcing agency to complete the investigation within a time frame.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor concedes to the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and on instructions, he would further submit that the investigation will be completed within the time frame fixed by this Court.

5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court without going into the merits of the case, is inclined to issue direction to the law enforcing agency to complete the investigation in Crime No.621 of 2011, after giving opportunity to the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are directed to co-operate with the law enforcing agency for early completion of the investigation.
