Application filed by the learned Official Assignee seeking permission, to pay the Valuation Charge of Rs.3060/- after deducting TDS if any, to the valuer Er.P.Anbarasan, B.E.(Civil), M.I.E. M S E F/V AI/T Arts, Chartered Engineer & Approved Valuer, Licensed Surveyor - Class I, Corporation of Chennai, since the said Engineer had inspected the property of the insolvent and has assessed the value of the property and had calculated the rental value. It had been stated that the insolvent Alwar Ramanujam had immovable property at Plot No.133

jv E.W.S 'A' type, Block No.22, Dr.M.G.R. Street, MMDA Colony, Arumbakkam, Egmore-Nungambakkam Taluk, Chennai 600 106. This property was inspected and valued by the Engineer. After such valuation, the Engineer had submitted a bill dated 05.01.2015 for Rs.3,060/-. The Official Assignee now seeks permission to pay a valuation charges of Rs.3,060/- after deducting TDS if any, to the said valuer Er.P.Anbarasan.

2. I have carefully considered the request sought for. Since the Engineer had assisted the office of the Official Assignee and discharged official work, I feel it is a fit case that the request can be granted. Consequently, the Official Assignee is permitted to pay a sum of Rs.3,060/- after deducting TDS, if any, to the said Engineer Er.Anbarasan and also obtain aknowledgment for such payment. Application is allowed.
