PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings in Crl.M.P No.2464 of 2014 on the file of the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai-15 and quash the same.

ORDER

This petition has been filed challenging the Domestic Violence proceedings initiated by the respondent.

2. This petition was not even entertained by this Court and it is kept pending from the year 2015 onwards. Necessary allegations have been made in the petition and the petitioner, who is the husband has to go before the Court below and establish his defence. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings at this stage.

3. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed and the Court below is directed to complete the proceedings in Crl.M.P No.2464 of 2014 on the file of the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai-15, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
