Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention of the Petitioner's brother Gowtham Suriya, son of Jagadeesan aged 24 years presently lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal and detained under Act 14/82 as a Goonda vide detention order dated 23.11.2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein, made in No.804/BCDFGISSSV/2019 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenu before this Court and set him at liberty from the Central Prison, Puzhal.

(Order of the court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) This Petition has been filed by the sister of the detenue, viz., Gowtham Suriya, son of Jagadeesan aged 24 years, challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent against the detenue in No.804/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 23.11.2019. 2.It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents that the Government has revoked the detention order passed by the second respondent against the detenu who is the brother of the petitioner. 3.In view of the said representation, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
