A.S.No.1047 of 2012 D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY, J., This appeal suit is against the judgment and decree in L.A.O.P.No.86 of 2018, which arise out of proceedings under Section 20 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act. It is seen that the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in N.Ponnusamy and another Vs. The Special Tahsildar (Review Petition No.98 of 2016) has held that the appeal under Section 54 of The Land Acquisition Act is not maintainable and if at all only a Civil Revision Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is maintainable and directed all the pending appeals be converted into Civil Revision Petitions under Article 227 of the Constitution of India and be posted before the concerned Portfolio Judge.

2. In view of the matter, I find that this case A.S.No.1047 of 2012 is also liable to be converted as Civil Revision Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India.

3. Accordingly, Registry is directed to convert this A.S.No.1047 of 2012 into Civil Revision Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India and list the matter for hearing on 12.12.2022.
