..Petitioners Original Petition praying that this Hon'ble Court be pleased that a Succession Certificate may be granted to the 1st petitioner with power to collect the securities and to receive the dividends and interest thereon and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule in the petition.

The petitioners who are the son and daughters of PL.Narayanan who died on 28.06.2000 seek Succession Certificate in respect of the securities that stood in the name of the deceased.

2. The petitioners are the son and daughters of the deceased PL.Narayanan. The 1st petitioner has been examined as PW1. He has produced the death certificate of PL.Narayanan as Ex.P1 and legal heirship certificate as Ex.P2. The death certificate of Sivakami, wife of PL.Narayanan has been filed as Ex.P3 and her legal heirship certificate has been filed and marked as Ex.P4.

3. A perusal of Ex.P3 and Ex.P4 would show that the petitioners are the legal heirs of the deceased PL.Narayanan. In view of the said evidence, this Original Petition is allowed granting Succession Certificate in favour of the 1st petitioner in respect of the securities mentioned in the schedule to the petition.
