Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, to consider petitioner representation dated 22/6/2019 to the Block Development Officer to take action according to law against on Mrs. Shanthi W.O Mr. Durairaj (late) who has encroached government land laid road and ACC sheet roof preventing the public and other residents of Kothari Nagar from using the Government Land.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.Christopher Kishore Vincent, learned counsel appearing for M/s.Vincent and Vincent for the petitioner and M.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 5.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that enquiry would be conducted and if any encroachment is found on the subject street, the same would be removed, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four months from today.

3. In view of the said statement, no orders are necessary. The writ petition, as such, stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
