Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there was some temple dispute arose between the petitioners and the respondents 3 to 12. During the pendency of the Criminal Original Petition, the 1st petitioner died on 02.01.2017. Subsequently, after a mutual discussion before the Pachayatars, Kallakurichi, both the parties have been amicably settled between themselves on 20.07.2020. He has also produced a letter dated 23.07.2020 and the same was recorded, hence, the relief sought for by the petitioners has now become infructuous.
