Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorari to call for the entire records in connection with impugned common order dated 06.07.2018 in Memo filed in C.P.No.481 of 2013 and C.P.No.556 of 2005 respectively passed by the III Additional Labour Judge, Chennai and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned in Claim Petition No.481 of 2013 and Claim Petition No.556 of 2005 respectively and not granting interest @ 9% from the date of filing Claim Petition No.481 of 2013 and Claim Petition No.556 of 2005 respectively to till the date of the disposal. 1/4

For Petitioners in both WPs : Mr.P.Kannan For Respondent in both WPs : Mr.Sairaj COMMON ORDER It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for both parties that the interest portion challenged in these Writ Petitions in W.P.No.312 of 2020 and W.P.No.313 of 2020 is against the common award dated 28.02.2018, which award has already been set aside by the order of this Court dated 23.11.2022 in batch of Writ Petitions in W.P.Nos.21118, 25006 & 25007 of 2018 and W.P.Nos.3306 & 6283 of 2019 and the matters are remanded back to the Labour Court for adjudication afresh, hence nothing survives in these Writ Petitions.

2. The submissions of both the learned counsels is recorded and since the Labour Court has already decided the matter, these Writ Petitions stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions stand closed.
