ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate the case and file a charge sheet in Crime No.13 of 2016 against the accused persons.
2. The case of the petitioner is that as against one Rathinavelu and others, she has lodged a complaint and the same was registered as FIR in Crime No.13 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 120B, 468 and 506(i) IPC. Though the complaint was registered on 20.10.2016, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.13 of 2016 pending on his file and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
