ORDER

Heard Mr.S.Veerabagu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Arulmozhimaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent. Mr.Sivakumar, Inspector of Police, N1-Royapuram Police Station, Chennai, the respondent herein is personally present before this Court today.

2.Today when the matter was called, the learned Government Advocate had filed a counter affidavit of the respondent herein, in which, the respondent police has stated that there https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

was no harassment since the complaint against the petitioner was already enquired and closed and that he has no intention to harass the petitioner at any point of time. Though the petitioner complains that there was harassment and he is deprived of his properties, I do not intend to investigate into the matter since it is a matter for evidence. Nevertheless, such a statement is denied in the counter affidavit and the concerned Inspector of Police in his affidavit has stated that the complaint against the petitioner herein was also closed and he has no intention to harass him. 3.Recording the statements made by the respondent in his affidavit, I am of the view that there is no disobedience on the part of the respondent herein. Hence, the Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs.
