This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2017 in accordance with law within a stipulated time.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides and perused the materials available on record. 3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is serving as Secondary Grade Teacher from 06.10.2004 and her services also regularised from 01.06.2008. He further submitted that the name of the petitioner has been shown as second person in the promotion panel for B.T. Assistant on 01.01.2016 for physics subject. She has not been given promotion, although vacancy has been arisen for B.T. Assistant on 01.09.2017. Hence, she has given a representation on 01.09.2017 and the same may be directed to be considered.

4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents sought for sufficient time to consider the representation of the petitioner.

5.This Court, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the said representation, the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the pending representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
