ORDER

The respondent police registered a case against the petitioner and three others for the offence punishable under Sections 468 and 471 of IPC and after investigation laid a charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Poonamallee, which was taken on file in C.C.No.119 of 2012. During pendency of the above case, A1 has filed this petition seeking to quash the same against him.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that the petitioner/A1 died and 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

produced death certificate which shows that the petitioner died on 29.09.2019 and hence nothing survives in this petition. In view of the above, charges against the petitioner/A1 gets abated and the criminal original petition is dismissed as abated. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
