Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the First Respondent to consider the representation dated 14.09.2023 made by the Petitioner in accordance with law, so as to take action against the Fourth and Sixth Respondents and disqualify them from holding any posts of Chithamur Panchayat Union and Perunkaranai Panchayat, Chengalpattu District. The Writ Petition has been filed directing the First Respondent to take action against the Fourth and Sixth Respondents and disqualify them from holding any posts in Chithamur Panchayat Union, Chengalpattu District by considering the representation dated 14.09.2023 made by the Petitioner. 3.

In furtherance to the order passed by this Court on 19.01.2024, the First Respondent has filed Status Report dated 19.02.2024 stating that there was no evidence for the allegations made by the Petitioner. In view of the same, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed in the matter, he is not precluded from working out his remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 19.03.2024 Index: Yes/No NCC: Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 22.04.2024.
