The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorari and call for the records and quash the award dated 26.11.2021 passed in I.D(L).No.3 of 2018 by the Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal cum Labour Court, Puducherry. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendancy of the writ petition, the matter was settled between the petitioner and respondents 1 to 3 and the petitioner paid compensation to the respondents 1 to 3. The learned counsel further submitted that now the fourth respondent agreed to receive a sum of Rs.7.5 Lakhs in full quit as compensation.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents did not dispute the facts submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and on instructions, submitted that the fourth respondent is ready to receive a sum of Rs.7.5 Lakhs in full quit as compensation. 4.In view of the consent view expressed by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court directs the petitioner Management 2/4
to pay a sum of Rs.7,50,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakhs and Fifty Thousand Only) in full quit to the fourth respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
